719.10 INSPECTION.
Twice annually the Chief of Police shall inspect each premises upon which a license under this chapter has been issued, in order to obtain information with regard to whether the licensee's business has been conducted in accordance with this chapter. The Chief shall submit a written report of such examination to the Safety-Service Director. The Chief shall, for the purpose of this examination, have free access to the grounds and buildings used in the conduct of the business by the licensee. Such inspections may be made at any time, at the option of the Chief, during the regular business hours of the licensee. No secondhand or precious metal dealer shall deny access to the Chief to make the inspection as provided for in this section. (Ord. 81-64. Passed 10-13-81.)
