719.01 DEFINITIONS.

   As used in this chapter, certain terms are defined as follows:

   (a)    "Secondhand articles" includes secondhand articles of any kind, scrap iron, old metal, canvas, rope, bottles, junk, lead or copper pipe, gold, silver, platinum, diamonds and other precious metals, coins, firearms, knives and stamps.

   (b)    "Secondhand dealer" means any person who purchases, exchanges, trades or receives secondhand articles for profit; provided, however, that any person who deals in scrap iron, canvas, rope, bottles or junk on an irregular basis shall not be considered to be a secondhand dealer.
