If the City has any reason to believe that any meter or metering device installed pursuant to Section 1041.09 is inaccurate or in need of repair, then the owner, at his or her own expense, shall have it tested and/or repaired and restored to accuracy to the satisfaction of the City. Such testing or restoration to accuracy shall be completed within sixty days of notice from the City Engineer. A reasonable interim sewer rental rate may be established by the City for that period during which suitable metering is not provided by the owner, or the owner may be required to establish suitable interim metering subject to City approval.
