153.01 DEFINITION.

The term "public property" as used in this chapter means any and all areas of the City owned by or under the control of the City including streets, sidewalks, tree lawn areas, public parking lots, and public parks or playgrounds. This chapter shall cover any and all types of work done in such public property including excavations or openings under the streets, sidewalks or tree lawn areas, and work done on or over the areas.
