Under the provisions of Section 1, Article V of the Charter there is created a Health Department which may consist of a Director of Health and such other employees as may be authorized by ordinance of Council. The duties and authority of the City's Health Department not otherwise assigned to a Director of Health and any other employees of the City, shall be delegated to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
