120.01 CREATION AND PURPOSE.

   Under the provisions of Article V, Section 1 of the City Charter, there is hereby created the Department of Communications and Marketing, effective immediately. The principal function and purpose of said Department shall be to consolidate and coordinate the City's communications and marketing activities, implement an overall plan to enhance the City's efforts to attract and retain residents, and to support the City's traditional commitment to diversity.
