For the purposes described in § 71.122 above, the Board of Public Works and Safety or its majority may designate the streets, or portions thereof, to be closed, and may further restrict or suspend the parking of motor vehicles all as in § 71.122 so stated by advance notice thereof through the public news media or by the posting of appropriate signs, barricades, or guards along the streets, or portion thereof so affected, as herein provided and in accord with the requirements of §§ 71.121(C) and 71.121(D) for declaration of a snow emergency by the Mayor.
