(a) All City employees, in addition to their regular compensation and other benefits as set forth in these Codified Ordinances, shall receive reimbursement up to seven dollars ($7.00) for breakfast allowance, up to seven dollars ($7.00) for lunch allowance, and up to sixteen dollars ($16.00) for dinner allowance, when such employees are compelled to be out of town on City business overnight or out of town attending schools or seminars overnight.

(b) No compensation for such meal allowances shall be made by the City unless the employee requesting such compensation provides the City with proper receipts verifying food expenditures.
(c) For the purposes of this section, “City employees” includes all elected and appointed City officials and all salaried and hourly employees of the City.
