The employment of school guards shall be under the jurisdiction of the Chief of Police who shall determine the hours of employment and the assignments to locations of such personnel. Compensation shall be two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) per month for regular assigned guards. For special assignments and for relief guards, compensation shall meet the minimum wage requirement.
