(a) All employees shall receive regular compensation for absence due to jury duty which can be verified as being required for the Municipal, County or Federal court jurisdictions wherein which such employees reside. Such employees shall endorse over to the City any and all jury duty fees and compensation received as a result of such jury duty performance.
(b) Such employees being compensated for absence due to jury duty shall report to work during regular duty hours before the scheduled time required to appear for jury duty, and after being dismissed from jury duty as directed by the department or division head of such employees, provided that the combined work obligation for such employees shall not exceed a normal day taking into account the time spent on jury duty.
