143.07 DIVISION OF ENGINEERING SECRETARY.
   (a)   The City Engineer is authorized to appoint a secretary to the Division of Engineering for the carrying out of the secretarial duties connected with the Division of Engineering. The secretary to the City Engineer shall be a full-time position.
   (b)   The qualifications for the full-time secretarial position to the City Engineer shall be as follows:
      (1)   She shall have the ability to work well with the public in a public type environment handling citizen complaints and other concerns.
      (2)   Be able to type 60wmp or better using MS Word or Word Perfect software with good writing skills and working knowledge of a spreadsheet program such as MS Excel or Lotus 1-2-3.
      (3)   Have a working knowledge and an understanding of engineering department procedures including but not limited to filing of plans and documents.
   (c)   The duties of the full-time secretary to the City Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following:
      (1)   Filing of documents and drawings and other public records.
      (2)   Preparing letters, meeting minutes and other documents.
      (3)   Greeting the public, developers, engineers and public officials.
      (4)   Provides answers for basic questions pertaining to Engineering Department functions.
      (5)   Perform other functions as directed by the City Engineer.
   (d)   Compensation and benefits associated with the position of secretary to the City Engineer as stated in the contract between the City of Seven Hills, Ohio and Ohio Council 8 and Local 3557 American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO (Clerical- technical chapter).
