125.11 HOLIDAY PAY.
(a)   The part-time employees provided for in Section 125.02, 125.05 and 125.083 shall be allowed paid holidays each year as follows:

January 1, 1988
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Memorial Day
Flag Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Three Paid Absence Days.
(b)   Such part-time employees shall be entitled to holiday pay and shall be paid at their hourly rate of pay of 1.25 percent of the number of hours worked during the work week in which a holiday falls. Eight hours of pay shall be the maximum paid for any of the holidays not worked. This requirement shall not apply to Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Such employees shall be compensated eight hours for each paid absence day taken. Compensation for paid absence days may be claimed and received concurrently with paid vacation or paid holidays taken for the same time period that paid absence days are claimed. For the purposes of this section, a work week shall be deemed to commence at 12:01 a.m. Sunday.
