The appointment to the office of the Director of Public Service and Properties and the duties thereof shall be in accordance with the provisions of City Charter Article V, Section 5. The hours of work shall be determined by the Mayor, however, notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary contained in this Code, the Director of public Service and Properties shall not be paid overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week.
