(a) This chapter is established in order to regulate the use of land within the City for educational and religious facilities so as to foster the most desirable use of the land in this City and to insure compatibility and stability of these facilities with existing land uses.
(b) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to permit dance halls, assembly halls, recreation centers or similar uses, these being permitted and regulated by Section 969.02(i) or other sections of this Code.
