969.02 PERMITTED BUILDINGS AND USES.
   In a General Retail Business District land may be used and buildings or structures may be designed, built, altered or used only for one or more of the following permitted uses:
   (a)   Public Buildings.
   (b)   Any use permitted in Section 967.02(b) to (g).
   (c)   Retail business engaged in:
      (1)    The sale of food and beverages of all kinds including sale for consumption on the premises, provided, however, no establishment engaged primarily in the business of selling spiritous, vinous or malt beverages for consumption on the premises shall be located nearer than 500 feet from the lot occupied by an existing church, public or private school, playground, park, library and not closer than one-half mile from any other existing similar establishment.
      (2)    The retail sale of new general merchandise including sales in a department store.
      (3)    The retail sale of new apparel of all kinds.
      (4)    The retail sale of new furniture and household goods.
   (d)   Service establishments including:
      (1)    Printing shops, provided that not more than five persons are engaged in such work at any time on the premises.
      (2)    Research and testing laboratories; television and radio studios.
      (3)    Hospitals and licensed health care facilities and treatment centers.
      (4)    Convalescent, nursing, custodial or day care rest homes for the aged.
      (5)    Animal hospitals or pet shops provided noise and odor is effectively confined.
   (e)   Business offices, in addition to those enumerated in Section 967.02(g) used for:
      (1)    Federally insured Banks, building and loan, and finance companies.
   (f)   Advertising signs which advertise only the services furnished or products dispensed or sold on the premises and which comply with the City of Seven Hills’ ordinances governing such.
   (g)   A public garage provided that the garage serves a permitted use on the same property.
