145.01 ESTABLISHED.

   There is hereby created and established a Division of Housing, Building and Zoning Department with enforcement powers throughout the Municipal Corporation Limits as now established or hereinafter created. (Ord. 1595-97. Passed 2-24-97.)

145.02 APPOINTMENT OF INSPECTOR.

   (a)   A Chief Housing, Building and Zoning Inspector shall be appointed by the Manager, with confirmation by the Council.

   (b)   At the time of appointment, the appointee need not be a resident of the Municipality; but shall meet the six mile radius residency requirement within six months after his/her appointment and confirmation. (Ord. 1595-97. Passed 2-24-97.)

145.03 DUTIES.

   The Chief Housing, Building and Zoning Inspector shall enforce the Housing, Building and Zoning Codes and perform clerical duties incident thereto and co-ordinate inspections and enforcements with the Division of Fire. (Ord. 1595-97. Passed 2-24-97.)
