§ 22-6-28 CITATION; ARREST; PROSECUTION; PENALTIES.
   Whenever any person shall violate any provision of §§ 22-6-6, 22-6-43, or 22-6-53 of this article (providing, in the event the violation shall have occurred at a location to which § 22-6-27 of this article applies, and the person shall not have made payment of a fee in an amount and manner and within a time which, by the terms of such section, will avoid the issuance of a citation or arrest and prosecution), a citation charging violation of the applicable section shall be issued to the person, or the person shall be arrested by a police officer and the case prosecuted in the manner provided by law. Upon conviction, the person shall be punished in the manner provided for Class II violations.
