A vehicle authorized to park in a handicapped parking space shall not be parked in a space for a period of time longer than is allowed for other parking spaces in the area in which the handicapped parking space is located, and reasonably necessary to enable the handicapped or disabled person to engage in the business which is the occasion for the parking.
