§ 17-1-1 TRANSPORTATION OF PASSENGERS; LICENSE; FROM CITY CLERK; REQUIRED.
   No person, firm, or corporation shall operate for hire any vehicle for the conveyance of passengers on the public streets or alleys of the city without first having obtained a license therefor from the City Clerk.
