Such election shall be accomplished by secret ballots on forms to be supplied by the City Clerk upon request. Each ballot shall contain the names of all candidates, listed in alphabetical order, who have been nominated as provided in § 6-5-91 of this subchapter, and shall bear no identification of the person who marked the ballot. Such ballot shall be deposited by the person who marked the ballot with the City Clerk, or the City Clerk’s deputy, in a sealed envelope before 4:00 p.m. on the date of the election, or by such person mailed to the City Clerk by certified mail not less than three days prior to the date of the election.
