The duties of the Park, Cemetery, and Tree Board shall be to consult with and advise the City Manager in regard to the development, improvement, and management of the parks and cemeteries of the city. The Park, Cemetery, and Tree Board shall also, upon request by the City Council, consider, investigate, and make findings, reports, and recommendations concerning any manner or question involving park trees (as defined in this code) and street trees (as defined in this code) together with any other duties which may be vested in the Board by this code.
