Within ten days after receipt by the City Manager of a copy of a written demand by the accused for an investigation, the City Manager shall:
(A) Cause to be delivered to the accused personally, or mailed by certified mail addressed to the residence address of the accused shown in the personnel records, the names of the witnesses who will be called on behalf of the City Manager at the hearing before the Commission, together with a general statement of the nature of their testimony, and copies of the documents to be introduced on behalf of the City Manager;
(B) In writing, designate the individual who shall conduct the investigation;
(C) In writing, elect whether the Civil Service Commission may be represented at the hearing by the City Attorney; and
(D) Deliver or cause to be mailed by certified mail to the City Attorney and the chairperson a copy of such elections.
