The Mayor shall sign all ordinances, resolutions, and orders which have been passed or adopted by the City Council. He or she shall sign the City Clerk’s minutes of all meetings after they have been spread at large upon the journals when the same have been approved by the action or acquiescence of the City Council. The Mayor may administer oaths and affirmations in all matters coming before him or her or the City Council.
