§ 4-3-145 SAME; MATERIAL; CONSTRUCTION.
   (A)   Service line pipe shall be black malleable iron pipe not less than one and one-fourth inch in diameter, and mill-wrapped with wrapping that, as determined by the Plumbing Inspector, will afford proper protection. In the alternative, service line pipe may be polyethylene pipe which meets or exceeds all requirements set forth in ASTM D2513.
   (B)   Where laid on the surface of the ground, or beneath the surface of ground over which is to be poured concrete or similar material, the service line pipe shall be enclosed in tile or steel pipe ducts.
