Application for a permit to install, change, or alter any plumbing, gas, steam fittings, oil fittings, and sheet metal for heating appliances, or apparatus or sewage disposal systems shall be made in writing upon forms furnished by the Plumbing Inspector. The application shall describe the location of the proposed work, with a drawing or diagram thereon or attached thereto. The Plumbing Inspector shall examine every such application and plans, drawings, or diagrams for compliance with the provisions of this article before issuance of a permit.
