Applicants for a water fitter’s license shall have had at least two years’ experience in the installation of water pipes, or have been an apprentice plumber for at least two years; shall present documentary proof of such fact in the form of letters or affidavit from the employer or former employers, or other qualified persons; and shall pass an examination by the Plumbing Examining Board showing that the applicant has a thorough knowledge of safety requirements and precautions.
