In addition to the requirements and prohibitions prescribed elsewhere in this article:
(A) It shall be unlawful for any individual to engage in the business of plumbing, or to install or repair plumbing for hire, within the corporate limits of the city or the area outside the city within which the city has exercised its zoning jurisdiction, unless such individual holds a plumbing contractor’s license as provided in this article or does the work as an employee of an individual, partnership, corporation, or other firm, or as a member of a partnership or otherwise unincorporated firm, which holds such a license; and
(B) It shall be unlawful for any partnership, corporation, or other firm to engage in the business of plumbing, or to cause any plumbing to be installed or repaired for hire, within the corporate limits of the city or the area outside the city within which the city has exercised its zoning jurisdiction, unless such partnership, corporation, or other firm holds a plumbing contractor’s license as provided in this article.
