§ 23-5-2 POLICE DEPARTMENT; REPORTS; CITY MANAGER; ENFORCEMENT.
   It shall be the duty of the police of the city to report to the City Manager all cases of leakage and of violations of this chapter, and of any other ordinance relating to the waterworks of the city, that may be brought to their notice, and they shall enforce the observance of such ordinances insofar as they have the authority to do so.
