(A) The order of business shall be as follows:
(1) Call to order by the presiding officer.
(2) Roll call.
(3) The reading of the journal minutes of the proceedings of the last previous meeting or meetings, and correction and approval of them, unlessdispensed with by the Village Board of Trustees and correction of the minutes of the proceedings of previous meetings; provided, it shall not be necessary to read the minutes of a meeting verbatim when copies thereof have been provided to the Village President and each member of the Board and distributed to department heads at least three full days before the commencement of the meeting at which the minutes are to be presented.
(4) Reports and communications from the Village President and other Village officers.
(5) Reports of standing committees, which shall be in writing and be read by the Village Clerk unless consent to make an oral report is given to the committee Chairman by a majority of the members present.
(6) Reports of special committees, which shall be governed by the rules set forth in division (5) above.
(7) Presentation of communications, petitions, resolutions, orders and ordinances.
(8) Unfinished business.
(9) Miscellaneous business.
(10) Adjournment.
(B) All questions relating to the priority of business shall be decided by the chair without debate, subject to appeal.
