2-2-25: EMERGENCY CLOSING:
In all cases where, in the opinion of the president of the board of trustees, the public peace is likely to be endangered by the keeping open of premises licensed hereunder, it shall be lawful for the president of the board of trustees to issue his proclamation, under the seal of the village, commanding and enjoining all persons licensed by the village to sell any of said liquors, and their servants and agents, to close their shops and places of business for such time as the president of the board of trustees shall deem necessary, and neither sell, give away nor suffer to be drawn any of said liquors in or about their premises during the time mentioned in said proclamation.
