2-2-7: CLASSES OF LICENSES; FEES; HOURS OF OPERATION:
   A.   Every person, firm or corporation engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in the village shall pay an annual license fee. Such licenses shall be divided into the following classes:
      1.   Class A: A class A license shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises specified in the license as well as in package form for consumption off the premises. It shall be unlawful to sell alcoholic liquor between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight, Mondays, and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Tuesdays through Fridays; one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Saturday; one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Sunday; and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M., Sunday, and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Monday. The license shall be annual and the fee shall be reviewed periodically by the governing body of the village and shall be adjusted as necessary. The annual fee for such license shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) and fully earned when such license is issued.
      2.   Class B: A class B license shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises by restaurants whose principal business as defined in this chapter is not the retail sale of alcoholic beverages. A class B license holder shall also be allowed to sell alcoholic liquor in package form for consumption off the premises. It shall be unlawful to sell alcoholic liquor between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight, Mondays, and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Tuesdays through Fridays; one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Saturday; one o'clock (1:00) A.M. and twelve o'clock (12:00) noon, Sunday; and ten o'clock (10:00) P.M., Sunday, and five o'clock (5:00) A.M., Monday. The license shall be annual and the fee shall be reviewed periodically by the governing body of the village and shall be adjusted as necessary. The annual fee for such license shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) and fully earned when such license is issued.
Class A and B license hours permitting the sale of alcoholic liquor will include the following hours:
         a.   New Year's Eve until two o'clock (2:00) A.M. on New Year's Day.
         b.   Sunday proceeding Memorial Day until twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight Monday.
         c.   Sunday proceeding Labor Day until twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight Monday.
         d.   Sunday July 3 until twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight Monday.
      3.   Class C: A class C license shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in package form, but not for consumption on the premises where sold. It shall be unlawful to sell alcoholic liquor as a class C license holder between the hours of nine o'clock (9:00) P.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. The license shall be annual and the fee shall be reviewed periodically by the governing body of the village and shall be adjusted as necessary. The annual fee for such license shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00) and fully earned when such license is issued.
   B.   All regulations that are part of this chapter shall apply in the same manner and degree as they apply to all other classes of licenses described herein. (Ord. 2014-002, 1-15-2014)
