2-2-2: LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER:
The president of the board of trustees is hereby authorized to be the local liquor control commissioner and shall be charged with the administration of the dramshop act, chapter 235 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, and of such ordinances and resolutions relating to alcoholic liquor as may be needed. The president of the board of trustees may appoint a person or persons to assist him in the exercise of the powers and performance of the duties provided for such local liquor control commissioner. For the purpose of this chapter, the use of the phrase "president of the board of trustees" shall be synonymous with liquor control commissioner. (Ord., 10-23-1995; amd. 2009 Code)
