5-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
OPERATE: To ride in or on, other than as a passenger, use or control the operation of a snowmobile in any manner, whether or not the snowmobile is under way.
PERSON: An individual, partnership, firm, corporation, association or other entity.
ROADWAY: That portion of a highway improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular traffic, exclusive of the shoulder. In the event the highway includes two (2) or more separate roadways, the term "roadway" refers to any such roadway separately but not to all such roadways collectively.
SNOWMOBILE: A self-propelled device designed for travel on snow or ice or natural terrain steered by skis or runners and supported in part by skis, belts or cleats. (Ord., 11-27-2000)
