§ 52.79  SHUTOFF AND DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE.
In addition to the other remedies provided, the Authority, as agent for the city, shall have the right to shut off and discontinue the supply of water to any premises for the non-payment of water charges when due. Bills for water service are due and payable at the business office of the Kalamazoo Lake, Sewer and Water Authority or to any designated agent on their date of issue. Any person or entity receiving service who fails to pay their bill within the period up to and including 30 calendar days following the due date will be considered delinquent accounts, and will be allowed ten working days following the mailing of date of the shut-off notice in which to collect the arrearage.  Failure to comply will result in the water service being shut off.
