§ 52.51 RESOLUTION TO PROHIBIT OR RESTRICT THE USE OF THE PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM FOR OUTDOOR WATERING.
   (A)   Generally. The City Council, upon a finding the there is presently a water shortage or that such a water shortage may be imminent in the city public water system, shall have the power to pass a resolution totally prohibiting or restricting the use of the public water system for outdoor watering within the city limits. The resolution shall state the finding mentioned above, and shall state the date the prohibition or restriction shall take effect.
   (B)   Publication of resolution. Upon the passing of a resolution as described in division (A), the City Clerk shall cause to be published, in a newspaper of general circulation within the city, a copy of the resolution, and the resolution shall constitute notice to the public of the ban on watering outdoors through use of the public water system.
