It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, or to permit any vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by, such person to be parked at a location in the Downtown Limited Parking Zone, including the City parking lots, in violation of the provisions of this chapter or any Municipal signs restricting parking.
No person shall remove, obstruct, and/or in any manner destroy the parking marks upon the tires of cars, which marks have been placed by person(s) authorized by City to keep track of the length of time vehicles are parked. The first violation shall be an infraction punishable by a fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00). A new or subsequent violation may be charged as a misdemeanor with the maximum penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. (Ord. 1309, 12-3-2014)
