(a) The Board of Park Commissioners shall take charge and have entire management, control and supervision of the Centennial Park, Kelley Park, Waterworth Memorial Park, Mullins Park, East Cold Run Reservoir, aka Salem City Lake, subject to Chapter 959
, and any such future properties designated as Salem City Park property, subject to City ordinances and shall make therein such improvements and establishments as they deem proper. They shall make the by-laws and regulations not inconsistent with any City ordinance that they deem necessary for the management and protection of such parks.
(b) The Board shall appoint a Superintendent of City parks, who shall perform such appropriate duties as shall be assigned to him. (Ord. 090519-33. Passed 5-19-09.)
