The sending of fire apparatus or equipment of the City outside the corporate limits shall, in all cases, be within the discretion of the Fire Chief. The Chief is granted the right as an intercity courtesy to send trucks, equipment and members of the Fire Department to surrounding cities, villages or communities in the event of large conflagrations or emergencies, to any place outside the corporate limits of the City without charge, when in his discretion he deems it advisable and pursuant to mutual aid agreements.
