151.01 MEMBERS.

(a) A Fire Department is established for the City. The Department shall consist of a Fire Chief and such other officers and men as may be authorized from time to time by ordinance.

(b) If two or more members in the Fire Department are off work at the same time then the Director of Public Safety shall decide if it is necessary to fill the vacancy by adding a temporary or special member or members in the Department. Council however, may provide for the extra payment if it deems it necessary.
