(a) For carrying into effect the provisions of this chapter, the Enforcing Official may adopt rules consistent with this Chapter.
(b) The Enforcing Official may request, and shall receive, as far as may be necessary in the discharge of his/her duties, the cooperation of the Law Director with advice and the prosecuting of violations, of the Chief of Police in enforcing orders, of the Fire Chief for technical advice and assistance and other officials as appropriate.
(c) In the event that the state or federal government promulgates cleanup guidelines that are more stringent than or that pre-empt local regulations, the state or federal guidelines shall prevail. (Ord. 160816-44. Passed 10-18-16.)
