(a) The Planning & Zoning Officer shall refuse to issue or renew an indoor shooting range permit or may revoke or suspend such permit where he finds that:
(1) A section of this chapter was violated upon the establishment premises;
(2) A violation of any section of the Ohio Revised Code or a City of Salem Code was committed upon the establishment premises, or by any employee on the premises;
(3) A material misrepresentation was made upon the application; or
(4) Any law enforcement officer or code inspector was refused permission to inspect the indoor shooting range premises or any portion of its operation during the scheduled hours of operation.
(b) A person shall be notified in writing as to the reason why a permit is revoked, suspended or denied. An appeal of the decision of the Planning & Zoning Officer may be taken to the Salem Board of Zoning Appeals in accordance with Chapter 1139
