If the Zoning Officer denies an application for a license or renewal of a license, or revokes or suspends a license, the applicant or licensee may appeal to the Salem City Board of Zoning Appeals. An appeal of the Zoning Officer's decision may be taken to the Board of Zoning Appeals, within ten days from the letter date denying an application/renewal or revoking/suspending a license, by filing with the Zoning Officer, a written notice of appeal and stating grounds thereon. A non-refundable fee of one hundred dollars($100.00) shall be paid to the City of Salem for said appeal upon filing. The Board of Zoning Appeals shall approve, modify or annul the Zoning Officer's decision, and the finding of the Board shall be final.
