1143.05 RECORDS.
   The Zoning Officer shall keep careful and comprehensive records of applications, of permits issued, of certificates issued, of inspections made, of reports rendered, and of notices or orders issued. He shall accurately maintain and periodically update both the original Zoning District Map and a certified copy of such Map, which copy shall be on display in the office of the Zoning Officer. He shall retain on file copies of all papers in connection with building work so long as any part of the building or structure to which they relate may be in existence. All such records shall be open to public inspection at reasonable hours, but shall not be removed from the office of the Zoning Officer.
