Each adult sexually oriented business, as defined in Section 739.02, is permitted to be located within “C-2" General Commercial Districts in the City of Salem and only on the following conditions:
(a) The business is located more than 1,000 feet of any church, public/private school, library, public playground, public park, nursery, type A or B daycare center, social service facility, community center, any boundary of a residential district or any structure being used totally or in part as a residential dwelling place.
(b) The 1,000 foot spacing requirement shall be determined by measuring the straight line distance from the nearest property line of the land on which the proposed sexually oriented business is located to the nearest property line of land on which such institutions or public or private places as herein above described are located.
