(a) Smoking shall be prohibited in the public buildings, department facilities and vehicles owned by the City. No person shall smoke any tobacco materials or other smoking material or have in a person's possession lighted smoking material in such public buildings or vehicles, except in designated smoking areas.
(b) Signs that are clearly visible and state "No Smoking", or "Designated Smoking Area", shall be placed in the public buildings, department facilities and vehicles owned by the City.
(c) Whoever violates this section may be fined up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) and costs for the prosecution herein, such offense being designated a minor misdemeanor.
