No person shall operate or park any vehicle on a mall in such a manner as to damage or deface any surface, structure or accessory thereof. No motor vehicle shall be parked upon any area of a mall unless its driver shall have placed beneath its motor and transmission a drip pan or similar device designed to prevent oil, lubricants and similar stain producing liquids from dripping upon the mall surface. Any person operating any vehicle or equipment causing damage to a mall shall be responsible to the city for the cost of satisfactory repair. (Prior code § 51.02.206)
