It is the intention of the city to obtain voluntary compliance from the property owner(s) and/or contractor(s) in such matters. However, when voluntary compliance cannot be achieved, penalties for noncompliance shall be as specified in § 96.999. In addition, the city may seek an appropriate equitable remedy issuing from a court of competent jurisdiction, including relief by injunction and order of abatement.
