A. For purposes of this section, the phrase “major remodeling” means any remodeling which has a cost or value of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) or more, and the phrase “major structural modification” means any structural modification which has a cost or value of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) or more.
B. 1. Whenever the Village provides water service to premises which have not previously been provided with water service, the water service shall be metered.
2. Whenever there is any major remodeling of any premises to which the Village is providing water service and such service is unmetered, the water service shall be metered as part of the remodeling.
