A. It shall be unlawful to operate or ride on a motorized skateboard or motorized scooter in the public streets, upon the public sidewalks, within a public right-of-way or within a parking lot or parking structure owned, leased or operated by the Village.
B. No person shall operate or ride on a motorized skateboard or motorized scooter upon any parking lot or within a parking structure which is owned, leased or operated by the Village.
C. The restrictions contained in subsections A and B of this section shall not be applicable to persons who operate or ride on a motorized skateboard or a motorized scooter in connection with an event such as a parade or a block party for which a permit has been issued or which has otherwise been approved or authorized by the Village.
