2-1-7: FAILURE TO ATTEND MEETINGS; VACANCIES:
   A.   If any person appointed to be a member of the Board of Public Safety Commissioners fails to attend meetings of the board on three (3) consecutive occasions, he shall be considered to have resigned his office as member of the board unless such person received the prior approval of the Village President to miss one or more of the meetings.
   B.   In the event a person appointed to be a member of the board is considered to have resigned pursuant to subsection A of this section, then a vacancy shall be created in the office to which such person was appointed, and the Village President, may appoint another person to fill such vacancy.
